Job summary

Midway Mechanical Services is seeking a Regional HR Generalist to support employees and leaders across Vancouver/Longview operations. This hands-on role covers HR administration, onboarding, benefits, compliance, training, and employee engagement.

The ideal candidate is organized, approachable, and comfortable working with employees at all levels, balancing day-to-day HR tasks with growth in a expanding organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• PHR, SHRM-CP, CEBS or similar certification is a plus.
• 4–6 years of progressive HR experience, generalist or HRBP role preferred.
• Experience supporting employees in mechanical, construction, service, or field-based industries preferred.
• Working knowledge of HR best practices and employment law compliance.
• HRIS experience; Paylocity experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day HR activities and provide support to employees and managers.
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in the HRIS and keep information current.
• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes, including new-hire paperwork and exit procedures.
• Support benefits administration and assist employees with benefits questions.
• Assist payroll administration and resolve payroll issues.
• Assist HRIS administration and maintain accurate employee data.
• Support recruiting and talent acquisition activities as needed.
• Assist with M&A and employee integration during growth.
