Summa Health is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to support acute care units across Akron and regional locations. You will assist with therapy under supervision and follow state and professional guidelines in accordance with Summa Health policies.

Qualifications include OTA licensure in Ohio, CPR certification, and strong communication. Travel and weekend/holiday rotation may occur; consistent start times and interdisciplinary teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an Occupational Therapy Assistant Program accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association.
• Current licensure issued by the Ohio Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Athletic Trainers Board.
• Current Basic Life Support for Health Care Provider (CPR) certification.
• Active participation in professional healthcare organization preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assists in administering therapeutic treatment to assigned patient population under supervision.
• Works within parameters established by Occupational Therapists and guidelines.
• Adheres to laws and professional guidelines of Ohio and Summa Health System.
