Qualifications

• Four year college degree and related experience required.
• Six years of housekeeping management experience at a large hospital account.
• Multi-site account management experience.
• Ability to analyze and interpret financial and other data.
• General business acumen.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• High customer service and quality attitude.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet established goals and objectives.
• Public speaking skills.
• Ability to utilize a participative approach to managing staff, to organize and prioritize tasks, and to develop budgets with a complete understanding of facility needs and requirements.
• Proficient in Windows based office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple environmental services accounts.
• Monitor unit expenditures and financial data.
• Develop and manage department operating budgets within approved limits.
• Coordinate housekeeping activities with other departments.
• Communicate with hospital administration and other departments.
• Plan, organize, direct, coordinate and supervise department operations.
• Establish work standards and workflows.
• Implement policies and procedures for department operations.
• Mentor staff and encourage innovation.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies.
• Align with facility goals and performance plans.
• Develop and maintain staff job descriptions.
• Encourage staff participation in education programs.
