Job summary

History Colorado is seeking a Hands-On History Regional Program Manager for Northern Colorado to oversee school break camps across multiple sites. You will develop engaging activities, supervise seasonal teams, and ensure safety and licensing compliance while communicating with families and coordinating with sites.

The role requires travel to program locations, budget oversight, and strong leadership to support children's social and emotional growth through hands-on, history-based programming.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of full-time experience managing youth programming with staff supervision.
• Must hold a valid driver's license and be able to travel to multiple Colorado sites.
• Must obtain First Aid and CPR certifications upon hire.
• Colorado Child Care Licensing qualifications pathways may apply.

Responsibilities

• Oversee school break camps at 3–5 Northern Colorado locations.
• Develop engaging activities grounded in history and geography.
• Recruit, hire, train, and supervise camp staff.
• Manage budgets, enrollment, and family communications.
• Visit camps to observe operations and implement improvements.
