Job summary

United Ag & Turf, a Deere dealership, seeks an experienced truck driver to support regional shipping and receiving. You will operate company trucks to move equipment between facilities and for customer deliveries.

The role emphasizes safety, load securing, and excellent customer service in a fast-paced, team environment in the Stamford area. Required is a valid CDL, 1+ year experience in semi-trailer operations, ability to lift 75 lbs, and proficiency with basic computer/elog tools.

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience as semi-trailer truck operator.
• Valid CDL License and clean background.
• Ability to lift items weighing up to 75 lbs repeatedly.
• High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Experience delivering agricultural, commercial, and construction equipment.
• Knowledge of securing loads with binding/strapping/chaining.
• Capability to operate forklifts and use computers/devices.
• Ability to pull 32' trailers and work with electronic logs.
• Positive, customer-friendly attitude and team collaboration.
• Effective verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Operate United Ag & Turf owned trucks to facilitate shipping and receiving.
• Deliver, pickup, and relocate equipment and parts as directed.
• Load and unload commercial, farm, and lawn equipment.
• Perform routine inspections and report defects or repairs.
• Provide outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup.
• Maintain certifications such as DOT/OSHA and CDL in good standing.
• Protect company property and ensure proper safety practices.
