Job summary

Mountain Cascade, Inc. seeks an experienced Area Manager to provide operational leadership for multiple heavy civil construction projects within an assigned region.

This senior role oversees Construction Superintendents, Foremen, and field operations to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with company quality standards. The ideal candidate is a proven leader with extensive experience in pump stations, water treatment plants (WTPs),

Qualifications

• 20+ years of progressive experience in heavy civil construction and leadership of complex public works projects.
• Extensive experience with pump stations, water/wastewater treatment plants, pipelines, and municipal infrastructure.
• Proven ability to mentor Construction Superintendents, Foremen and field personnel while overseeing multiple projects.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for multiple heavy civil construction projects within an assigned region.
• Conduct regular jobsite visits to monitor progress, productivity, quality, staffing and performance.
• Lead, mentor, and support field personnel to achieve safe, productive project execution.
• Promote and enforce a strong safety culture in accordance with policies and OSHA regulations.
• Partner with Project Managers to deliver projects safely, on schedule, within budget and to quality standards.
• Build and maintain relationships with owners, engineers, inspectors, subcontractors, suppliers and public agencies.
• Monitor project progress and identify risks and opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Travel frequently between project sites and support workforce planning and development.
