Job summary

NPAworldwide in Rochelle, Illinois, seeks a Regional Grower to lead multiple greenhouse facilities across North America, ensuring production objectives, crop health, and standardization of growing practices. This role reports to the Director of Growing Operations and requires frequent travel to greenhouse locations.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of leadership in commercial greenhouse vegetable production, with demonstrated experience in crop optimization, operational excellence, and team

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in horticulture, agronomy, agriculture, plant science or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional growing teams to achieve production, quality, and yield objectives.
• Partner with senior leadership to develop and execute long-term growing and operational strategies.
• Standardize growing protocols and ensure best practices across facilities.
• Analyze production metrics to identify opportunities for optimization and performance improvement.
• Monitor crop health, environmental controls, irrigation, fertigation, and IPM programs.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, sustainability and cost management.
• Support expansion through site start-ups, acquisitions, and integration projects.
• Mentor Growers and Growing Managers across locations.
• Coach and develop high-performing teams; support QA and Food Safety collaboration.

Post-secondary education in Horticulture / Agronomy / Plant Science or related fields
