Job summary

Thrive-Pet-Healthcare is seeking a Regional GP Veterinarian for Chicago-area coverage in Elmhurst, IL. The role offers full-time or part-time options with regional travel within a designated area.

You will provide wellness, emergency, and surgical services, build client relationships, maintain records, and mentor newer vets as needed. A strong DVM/VMD and state license are required, with DEA license eligibility preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD).
• Licensed in the state of hire and in good standing.
• Active DEA license or eligibility.
• Minimum 3 years GP experience or internship plus 1 year GP.
• Surgical and dental experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care including wellness, emergency, and surgical services.
• Build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and support staff.
• Maintain accurate medical records and clear communication.
• Support and mentor newer veterinarians when needed.
