Job summary

Thrive Pet Healthcare is seeking a Regional GP Veterinarian for the Chicago area. The role offers travel within a designated region, schedule flexibility, and the stability of full-time or part-time employment with industry-leading benefits.

Requirements include a DVM/VMD, licensure in good standing, DEA license or eligibility, and 3+ years of GP experience with surgical/dental expertise. Shifts include 10-hour days with 12 shifts/4 weeks for full-time.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD degree required.
• State license in good standing for the hiring state.
• Active DEA license or licensure eligible.
• Minimum 3 years GP experience or internship + 1 year GP experience.
• Surgical and dental experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care, including wellness, emergency, and surgical services.
• Build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and staff.
• Maintain accurate medical records and clear communication.
• Support and mentor newer veterinarians when needed.
