Job summary

Style Crest Enterprises Inc in Winston-Salem, NC, is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead sales, installation and operations for a group of regional store locations. This role directs strategic planning, budgeting, profitability, and customer service levels across locations, while developing workforce capability and ensuring safety, compliance and effective transportation.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of sales and operations leadership with P&L

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related business field or equivalent work experience.
At least 5 years of demonstrated success in roles with progressive responsibilities both in sales and operations (distribution) with responsibility for P&L results.
A solid understanding of the housing industry and customer channels.
Knowledge of the manufactured housing segment is preferred.
Prior experience in business planning and developing customer relationships.
Prior experience working with challenging product lines and a diverse customer base.
Proven leadership abilities in a management role with direct reports at multiple facilities.
Excellent customer service, organizational, interpersonal and communication (written & verbal) skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions and resolve conflicts.
Knowledge of distribution and transportation activities and the impacts of federal/state laws on these activities.
Proficient using Word, Excel & Outlook. Experience using an ERP business system.
Operates from a clear set of positive values, principles and ethics.
Demonstrated team player who can lead and facilitate a team to produce results while maintaining positive working and customer relationships.
Ability to be flexible, adaptive and manage through business changes with a positive attitude.
Must be able to travel frequently to be visible at all locations.

Responsibilities

Monitors sales and profitability for each location to ensure resources support sales and growth expectations.
Analyzes monthly financial performance and identifies opportunities to enhance overall performance.
Evaluates factors like sales trends, competition, and market needs; works with Regional GM to decide.
Implements sales programs and promotions to increase sales and meet financial goals.
Monitors the success of sales activities, programs and promotions.
Provides leadership to accomplish goals and financial performance for each store location.
Guides store managers to optimize labor, performance and hiring/training.
Develops and maintains strong business relationships to support Style Crest’s reputation and customer focus.
Works with store managers to identify initiatives to improve productivity, sales, and customer service.
Oversees distribution, transportation, install, and store operations for efficiency and compliance.
