Customized Distribution Services, Inc. is seeking a Regional General Manager for our expanding Allentown operation in PA. You will lead growth, staffing, and process improvements across warehousing, distribution, and customer fulfillment in a fast-paced, multi-customer environment.

We're seeking an experienced, people-focusedRegional General Manager to lead our established distribution operation in Allentown, Pennsylvania, through an exciting period of growth.

With a new customer, we're expanding our operations, growing our dedicated workforce, and strengthening our capabilities in a dynamic, multi-customer environment.

Our facility serves a diverse range of industries, including parcel picking, order fulfillment, and distribution services, with a significant portion of the operation dedicated to a major customer. Success requires a leader who can balance complex operational demands, build strong customer relationships, and consistently deliver results.

What You'll Lead

As our Regional General Manager, you'll provide strategic and hands-on leadership for an expanding distribution operation, balancing day-to-day performance with long-term growth.

You'll oversee a diverse operational environment, support new customer integration and operational expansion, and lead teams committed to safety, service, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Your Impact

Lead Growth and Expansion

Lead the continued growth of our Allentown operations, including new customer integration, workforce expansion, operational planning, and capacity development.

Partner with Operations, Engineering, HR, Safety, IT, and other stakeholders to support successful expansion and operational readiness.

Develop scalable processes, staffing strategies, and performance expectations that support current operations and future regional growth.

Drive Operational Excellence

Oversee warehouse and distribution operations, including receiving, inventory management, storage, parcel picking, order fulfillment, shipping, and transportation coordination.

Manage the operational demands of a multi-customer facility while maintaining high service standards and meeting individual customer expectations.

Establish and monitor KPIs focused on safety, productivity, accuracy, quality, customer service, and financial performance.

Partner with Engineering and other departments to identify opportunities to improve processes, increase operational efficiency, and manage costs.

Lead labor planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and P&L performance.

Build and Develop Exceptional Teams

Recruit, coach, mentor, and develop a dedicated, directly hired workforce and strong management team.

Foster a culture where employees are engaged, accountable, safety-conscious, and empowered to succeed.

Develop leadership talent, strengthen succession planning, and create opportunities for employee growth.

Partner with HR to support workforce planning, employee relations, retention, and organizational development.

Champion Safety and Customer Relationships

Promote a safety-first culture and ensure compliance with OSHA, applicable regulatory requirements, and company standards.

Maintain strong customer relationships by understanding their operational needs and delivering reliable, high-quality service.

Collaborate with leadership to identify opportunities to expand services, improve operations, and drive long-term business growth.

Represent the organization professionally with customers, business partners, and the local community.

The Ideal Candidate

10+ years of progressive leadership experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, or fulfillment operations.

Demonstrated success leading large-scale operations, facility expansions, operational growth, or complex distribution environments.

Experience managing multi-customer operations, third-party logistics (3PL), or dedicated customer accounts is highly desirable.

Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, parcel picking, order fulfillment, and inbound/outbound distribution.

Proven ability to lead, develop, and retain high-performing teams in a direct-hire workforce environment.

Strong financial and analytical capabilities, including budgeting, labor management, P&L accountability, and KPI-driven performance.

Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF technology, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.

Working knowledge of OSHA requirements and applicable warehouse safety and regulatory standards.

Experience with FDA, food safety, and other regulated warehouse operations; experience in a BRCGS-certified facility or supporting BRCGS certification is strongly preferred.

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Management, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.

Ability to work on-site in Allentown, Pennsylvania, with schedule flexibility to support operational demands and expansion activities.
