Job summary

JE Dunn Construction seeks a Regional General Counsel to lead the legal affairs of the region, oversee compliance with laws and regulations, and provide strategic legal counsel to regional leadership to protect the Company’s interests. This role directs risk management, policy development, and governance across major projects.

Key duties include contract reviews, litigation management, and managing outside counsel while fostering diversity and inclusion throughout the organization.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) required; licensed to practice in a relevant jurisdiction.
• 10+ years of legal experience, construction law preferred.
• Experience managing people and outside counsel; strong risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional legal affairs and provide strategic counsel to leadership.
• Review procurement documents, contracts, and joint ventures.
• Manage claims, litigation, and outside counsel relationships.
• Ensure compliance with laws and governance policies across the region.
• Advise on financing, business structures, and regulatory matters.
