Job summary

Bell Nursery is seeking an Area Manager to oversee four or more Garden Centers. You will ensure merchandising to company standards, execute promotions, and coordinate weekly ads while partnering with the District Manager to optimize inventory and staffing.

The role demands strong leadership, exceptional customer service, staff coaching, and the ability to travel between sites. A high school diploma and retail management experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail management or district leadership is preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to train and coach staff and manage multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Oversee merchandising across four or more Garden Centers per district to company standards.
• Implement store promotions and set weekly ads.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure accuracy; coordinate with District Manager.
• Coach and onboard new hires; manage staffing to meet sales goals.
• Provide leadership and drive customer service excellence across centers.
