Job summary

Verst Group in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to perform preventive maintenance on material handling equipment and building systems. The role requires hands-on repair work and accuracy in logs and documentation.

You will troubleshoot, read electrical schematics, weld when needed, and ensure OSHA regulations are followed. A high school diploma and at least five years' experience are expected; valid license and ability to travel regionally are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years' experience with material handling equipment or building maintenance.
• Valid driver's license with good MVR; able to travel locally/regionally.
• Able to work on elevated platforms and heights.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations.
• Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Proficient in reading electrical schematics.
• Welding experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive maintenance for material handling equipment to ensure safe, efficient operation and maximize life.
• Review daily Preventive Maintenance Check Forms and perform general repairs.
• Identify building/equipment issues and advise the Property and Maintenance Manager.
• Perform general maintenance and repairs of building, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry.
• Maintain logs and documentation of maintenance and repairs.
• Comply with OSHA and related standards.
• Purchase supplies and parts from approved suppliers as authorized.
• Assist with special projects as required.
