Job summary

CJ Schwan’s is seeking an Associate Regional Sales Manager to cover Milwaukee and Madison, WI from a home office. You will sell Schwan’s products to foodservice distributors, K12, and non-commercial accounts, while coordinating with distributors and industry partners to reach regional sales goals.

The role requires 5+ years in sales in foodservice, strong relationship skills, and proficiency with CRM and Microsoft Office; travel will be 25–50% with occasional overnights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent years’ experience) and a minimum of 5+ sales experience in foodservice
• Current relationships in foodservice sales with distribution and operators is a plus
• Microsoft Office and CRM system proficiency required

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow relationships with broadline distributors and key stakeholders to achieve annual sales goals
• Drive commercial and non-commercial sales across ~60 regional accounts with contract compliance
• Lead and execute customer-facing events including sales meetings, trainings, food shows, and industry events
• Direct distributor activities to deliver regional sales quotas and objectives
• Develop and execute go-to-market strategies and track results in Salesforce
• Promote product quality and differentiation through presentations and demonstrations
• Analyze sales data to identify growth opportunities, inventory needs, and customer preferences
• Partner with Corporate Distribution to execute national strategies locally
• Manage regional sales operations including reporting and expense tracking
• Serve as primary customer contact and provide marketing guidance at trade shows and associations
• Travel: 25-50% in assigned market with ~1-2 overnights per month
