Regional Food Service Director of Operations - New Jersey Region

This position reports to the RVP and involves leading, managing, and inspiring a team of District Managers and other leaders within the region. The goal is to achieve operational and financial success while maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring compliance with all regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and motivate a diverse team of managers and staff to deliver excellent service.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and meet KPIs such as profitability and safety.
• Participate in regional leadership meetings, sharing best practices and promoting diversity and community.
• Manage all accounts within the territory, making balanced decisions on risk and reward.
• Support regional cultural initiatives, ensure transparency, safety, and accountability.
• Represent the company to senior clients and handle escalations.
• Oversee sales, retention, and regional initiatives, ensuring compliance and timely reporting.
• Develop talent through performance evaluations and succession planning, with a focus on multi-unit management skills.
• Own financial results, including P&L, forecasting, and budgeting.
• Ensure policy adherence and stay ahead of marketplace trends.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree from an accredited institution, or eight years of progressive experience in related fields.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Senior leadership experience with contract/budget management, client relations, and team development.
• Proven track record in business growth and financial acumen.
• Excellent strategic thinking, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Proactive, adaptable, and resilient mindset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Extensive travel is required for this role.
