Job summary

Cherry Hill Free Clinic seeks a Regional Float RN to provide safe, continuous patient care across multiple facilities by adapting to evolving unit needs within a market-based team.

The role requires delivering competent care in at least three facilities, applying strong communication, critical thinking, and computer skills, and completing department-specific training and competency assessments to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Associate degree is required.
• BSN or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Current compact state licensure.
• Specialty certifications are advantageous.
• Experience in Med Surg, Tele, Critical Care, ED, or Women’s Health.

Responsibilities

• Provide care across at least three facilities.
• Demonstrate strong communication, customer service, conflict resolution, critical thinking and computer skills.
• Complete department-specific training and competency assessments.
• Interpret patient information to tailor care by age-specific needs.
• Pursue relevant certifications such as cardiac dysrhythmia and NIH Stroke Scale.
• Maintain specialty certifications when possible.

The Regional Float RN provides safe, continuous, and quality patient care across multiple settings by adapting to varying unit needs within a market-based team.

Responsibilities Include

• Delivering competent care in at least three facilities, ensuring patient needs are met effectively.
• Applying strong communication, customer service, conflict resolution, critical thinking, and computer skills.
• Completing necessary department-specific training and competency assessments.
• Interpreting patient information to tailor care according to age-specific needs.
• Achieving certification in cardiac dysrhythmia and NIH Stroke Scale upon hire.
• Possessing specialty certifications such as Non-Violent Crisis Intervention, fetal monitoring, or breastfeeding, with preferred certifications within two years.

Qualifications Include

• Associate Degree (required), Bachelor’s or BSN (preferred).
• Experience in specialties like Med Surg, Tele, Critical Care, ED, or Women’s Health.
• Current compact state licensure; specialty certifications are advantageous.
