Job summary

Bear Mountain Healthcare is seeking an Occupational Therapist Registered (OTR) for a Regional Float role across Andover, Reading, and Lowell, MA. The OT will plan, implement, and direct therapy services, ensuring compliance with regulations and maximizing resident independence and quality of life.

The ideal candidate holds an OT license, has education in OT (BS/MS/OTD), and can evaluate and customize rehabilitation plans while maintaining thorough documentation and coordinating with the care

Qualifications

• Must hold an active state license or be license eligible.
• Education required: accredited OT program (BS, MS, or OTD).

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate and direct Occupational Therapy services and programs.
• Maintain accurate documentation, department records and reports.
• Communicate effectively regarding OT programs with residents, families and the care team.
• Initiate referrals when appropriate per OT procedures.
• Conduct screenings to determine need for intervention or treatment.
• Interpret and communicate evaluation findings to residents and family members.
