Job summary

BJC HealthCare is seeking a Regional Float ED Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across 12 BJC hospitals in MO and IL. This role involves three 12-hour night shifts with flexible start times, mileage reimbursement, and a pathway for career growth within the system.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years in Emergency Department nursing, Missouri RN license with IL eligibility, TNCC certification, and a willingness to travel between facilities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years ED RN experience (required).
• Missouri RN license with ability to obtain Illinois license.
• Willingness to travel between BJC facilities in MO & IL.
• ADN, BSN or MSN accepted; TNCC certification required.

Responsibilities

• Float to 12 BJC hospitals across MO and IL, maintaining ED nursing care.
• Apply nursing process and evidence-based practice to patient care.
• Collaborate with interprofessional team and mentor others.
• Support patient safety, quality care and regulatory compliance.
• Promote family-centered care and effective communication.
