Job summary

Ruan Transportation Management Systems is hiring a Class A CDL flex driver for our Richmond, VA fleet. This role travels to multiple operations to provide coverage and support wherever needed, with weekly pay and a $40/hour rate.

Drivers will be out up to five weeks at a time, home one week, typically start between 4 p.m. - 7 p.m., work six days per week with a 50-hour guarantee. A real ID is required for travel; DOT rules apply.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 22 years old.
• No more than three moving violations in past three years (some restrictions).
• No more than one DOT recordable preventable accident in past three years.
• Must create a profile in the DOT Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse before hire.
• 9 months of tractor-trailer experience in past three years.
• Must read and speak English sufficiently to interact with the public and complete records.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 26' box truck with liftgate/48' rail gate and other equipment depending on operation.
• Load and unload carts of product.
• Travel to operations nationwide to provide coverage as needed.
