Job summary

Ruan Transportation Management Systems is hiring a Regional Flex CDL Driver in Milbank, SD. Drivers will haul freight for a dedicated customer on multiple routes, with average annual pay around $91,000 and a guaranteed $1,750 per week. Flex drivers may be out 1–2 weeks and will travel to nearby operations as needed.

• 9 months of tractor-trailer experience within the past three years.
• Must be able to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the general public, understand highway traffic signs and signals in English, respond to official inquiries, and make entries on reports and records.

Responsibilities

• Operate as a regional flex CDL driver on dedicated routes.
• Cover vacations, absences, and fill-ins across multiple routes.
• Be prepared to be out 1–2 weeks at a time, with variable days off depending on routes.
• When not based in Milbank, SD, travel to Billings, MT, or other operations as needed.

About the Job

Pay

Drivers will receive package pay averaging$91,000 per year and are guaranteed $1,750 per week as a flex driver. Plus, enjoy an average of 40% to 60% employee discount on Do it Best products!

Schedule

Flex drivers will run various dedicated routes to include doubles with multiple stops on this account. They can expect to be out for 1-2 weeks at a time and must be flexible with their days off depending on the routes assigned. When covering routes not based out of Milbank, SD drivers will travel to Billings, MT. or other operations as needed.

Equipment

Haul in 2024 Freightliner Sleepers with preloaded heated trailers Use an electric pallet jack to tailgate pallets with some driver unload.
