Job summary

Ruan is hiring a Regional Flex CDL Driver in Fort Wayne, IN. The role travels to various customers across the United States, providing regional coverage with a guaranteed 50 hours per week.

Compensation includes $40 per hour, $25 per diem while traveling, and an average annual pay of $105,000. The position requires Hazmat endorsement (or willingness to obtain before hire) and DOT Clearinghouse participation.

Qualifications

• Must be 22 years or older.
• No more than three moving violations in the past three years (some restrictions apply).
• No more than one DOT recordable preventable accident in the last three years.
• A profile must be created in the DOT Clearinghouse before hire.
• 9 months of tractor-trailer experience within the past three years.
• Must be able to read and speak English sufficiently to communicate and complete reports.
• Additional qualifications will apply.

Responsibilities

• Drive regional CDL routes across the United States to support multiple customers.
• Cover last-minute call offs and open routes, with occasional dock work when required.
• Perform road tests and training for new hires.

About the Job

Ruan is hiring drivers Class A Regional CDL Flex drivers for our fleet. Our flex drivers never have to worry about not having enough work available, because we'll send you to where extra help is needed! These drivers will travel to various customers & operations around the United States and support the locations that are in need of extra coverage. Pay

• $40 per hour straight time, guaranteed 50 hours per week!
• $25.00 per diem when traveling
• $105,000 average annual

Schedule

Driver will cover last minute call offs, scheduled PTO, and open routes until new driver is hired. Will perform road test and training of new hires. Driver will work on the dock if the route the driver is covering requires dock work. Driver could be out for up to 5 weeks at a time and home for 1 week. Can stay out longer if wanted. Schedule will vary depending on operation you are supporting.

Equipment

• Operate different types of equipment based on the customer you are supporting. Day cab and Sleeper cab. Dry van and reefer trailers. Straight truck.
• Mixture of no-touch freight, driver assist, unloading, and tarping.
• Hazmat endorsement required. Driver must be willing to obtain before hire.
• Forklift experience a plus, must be willing to be trained.
• Real ID or US Passport are required for traveling.
