Job summary

Americold Realty Trust, Inc. is seeking a Regional Safety Manager to ensure safety, compliance, and efficient fleet operation across multiple regions. The role develops safety programs, trains drivers, monitors performance, and leads accident prevention.

Qualifications

5 years of experience in fleet operations, transportation safety, or regional safety management.
Proven, hands-on experience managing driver profiles and compliance workflows
Knowledge of safety training management and state/federal standards and regulations required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project required.

Responsibilities

Audit and maintain Driver Qualification Files at the site level to ensure complete accuracy.
Ensure the fleet complies with all local, state, and federal transportation laws, including DOT and FMCSA regulations.
Maintain detailed safety records and prepare compliance reports for executive management and regulatory requirements.
Create, implement, and maintain transportation safety policies and procedures for drivers and maintenance staff.
Identify hazards and develop proactive strategies to mitigate risks, injuries, and liability.
Oversee the regional budget for safety programs.
