Job summary

PepsiCo Inc. in Aberdeen, MD and York, PA seeks a Fleet Manager to lead local fleet teams, manage budgets, and improve reliability across over-the-road assets. You will collaborate with service centers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to optimize maintenance, fuel usage, and asset utilization.

The role requires leadership, strategic planning, and cross-functional communication to drive cost efficiency and safety across a large, multi-site fleet. Travel up to 50% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in fleet maintenance or logistics preferred.
• Supply Chain experience.
• Knowledge of DOT guidelines.
• Fleet CMMS experience.
• Ability to manage front line employees and leaders.
• Lean Six Sigma experience preferred.
• Flexible to work off shifts, holidays, and weekends as needed.
• Travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Lead local Fleet Teams to deliver cost, quality, service, and reliability results as per the Fleet Capability plan.
• Partner with the Fleet Service Center team handling outside vendor maintenance service and parts ordering.
• Implement national tactics to drive World Class Service & Performance.
• Develop and manage a strategic plan to drive Fleet performance.
• Create an asset utilization plan for maximum asset availability.
• Coordinate with site, region and fleet HQ on annual fleet financial plan and initiatives.
• Execute a fuel maintenance plan to reduce usage and improve MPG.
• Ensure compliance with DOT, EPA, SMART, OSHA and FDA requirements.
• Supervise about 13 direct reports.
• Oversee key accounts including repair, fuel, rentals, and tires for local locations.
• Develop technical and non-technical capabilities of fleet technicians.
• Foster strong relationships with Sales and Transportation Operations.
