Job summary

Silco Fire & Security Company in Ohio is seeking a Project Manager to oversee fire alarm, suppression, and security projects across the assigned region. You will coordinate clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure systems meet OBC, NFPA, and client specifications while managing budgets and timelines.

The role reports to the Fire Alarm & Security Operations Manager (Regional) and requires strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills to deliver on-time, within-scope

Qualifications

• Experienced Project Manager with similar or transferrable industry knowledge.
• Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems and safety regulations preferred.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in using Procore and Salesforce is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of managing projects from conception to completion.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and clients to plan and execute fire alarm and suppression projects and security projects.
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors to promote efficient execution of projects.
• Ensure all fire alarm and suppression system installations comply with local, state, and federal safety regulations; ensure proper commissioning.
• Prepare and manage project budgets and forecast needs, including hours, in advance of on-site work.
• Maintain detailed project documentation, including specifications, drawings, and reports; ensure proper archiving and billing of installation hours.
• Organize and attend project meetings; provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Provide training and guidance to installation teams and assist in proposal development.
