Job summary

LCS is seeking a Regional Finance Director to lead financial performance for a portfolio of communities, driving profitability through strategic budgeting, forecasting, and capital decisions. You will partner with regional leaders to optimize staffing, pricing, and cash management while aligning with the annual plan.

You will serve as a trusted advisor to Operations, HR, and Sales & Marketing, ensuring strong internal controls and collaboration with the Finance COE. Travel 25–50% is anticipated.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; or equivalent experience.
• 8–10 years in finance, FP&A, or analytical roles.
• Ability to translate financial and operational data into actionable steps.
• Ability to operate independently, manage ambiguity, and respond quickly during community or regional issues.
• Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning for complex portfolios.
• Experience presenting to executive teams, boards, and external stakeholders.
• Advanced financial modeling, data analytics, and BI tool usage.
• Solid knowledge of internal controls, compliance, and audit best practices.
• Ability to build consensus among diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive financial oversight for assigned communities aligned to budget and cash goals.
• Analyze financial results across the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow to explain drivers, risks, and opportunities.
• Lead structured financial reviews with leaders; present results to senior leadership and boards.
• Translate variances into action plans with defined owners, timelines, and measurable outcomes.
• Ensure accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial reporting with the close and accrual processes.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting strategy with Executives, Department Heads, and Regional Teams.
• Evaluate staffing changes and capital expenditure using financial modeling and scenario analysis.
• Provide forward-looking insights and model updates to the COE.
