Job summary

The Quest Organization seeks a Regional Finance Director for construction to lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning across locations. You will drive project profitability, job costing, and cash flow decisions in partnership with operations leadership.

Responsibilities include monthly reporting, GAAP/compliance, and developing finance staff while serving as a Power BI and Vista superuser to optimize cross‑site analytics.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of finance/accounting experience, including 5+ years in construction or project-driven env.
• Strong knowledge of percentage-of-completion accounting, job costing, WIP, and project forecasting.
• Experience partnering with operations and supporting multiple locations.
• CPA, MBA, or CCFIP a plus.

• Lead monthly financial reporting and support month-end close, including project forecasts, accrued costs, variances, and jobs exceeding 100% completion.
• Ensure accurate GAAP, construction accounting, cost coding, and internal controls.

Regional Finance Director - Construction

A leading project-driven organization is seeking a Regional Finance Director to partner with the Regional President and operations leadership. This role will oversee financial planning, forecasting, project financial performance, reporting, and operational decision support.

Responsibilities:

• Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, scenario planning, and regional financial planning.
• Partner with Operations and Project Management on project profitability, forecasting, job costing, change orders, contingencies, cash flow, and over/under billings.
• Monitor project performance, progress billings, A/R, retention, and collection activity.
• Provide financial analysis and actionable insights on markets, customers, resource planning, costs, and investments.
• Lead monthly financial reporting and support month-end close, including project forecasts, accrued costs, variances, and jobs exceeding 100% completion.
• Ensure accurate GAAP, construction accounting, cost coding, and internal controls.
• Serve as a regional superuser for Vista and Power BI, optimizing reporting and analysis.
• Partner with corporate accounting on process improvements and company initiatives.
• Lead, coach, and develop finance staff.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Construction Management, or related field.
• 10+ years of finance/accounting experience, including 5+ years in construction or another project-driven environment.
• Strong knowledge of percentage-of-completion accounting, job costing, WIP, project forecasting, and construction accounting.
• Experience partnering with operations and supporting multiple locations.
• ERP experience required; Vista experience preferred.
• Power BI experience preferred, particularly working with multiple data sources.
• Strong analytical, communication, leadership, and business-partnering skills.
