Job summary

MaziCTools seeks a Business Controller to partner with operations and sales leaders across 20 locations in the Upper Midwest. The role focuses on analysis, budgeting, and financial oversight, with travel to plants (about 10%). The position sits at the largest location near Minneapolis and interfaces with regional and senior leadership.

The candidate will work with a shared services group for financials, perform mini-audits, and drive identifiable savings while mentoring location managers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
• Experience as Accounting/Finance Manager or supervisor preferred.
• Advanced MS Office skills; JD Edwards experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor month-end close, billing, inventory accuracy, A/P accruals, intercompany, and cut-offs.
• Review P&L with regional leaders; identify margin improvement opportunities.
• Conduct plant visits for audits and provide financial guidance to site managers.
• Assist with budgeting, regional analyses, and year-end inventory processes.
• Provide ad-hoc analyses and support for capital projects.
