Job summary

Advanced Technology Services, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Maintenance Technician for regional travel in the Chicagoland area.

The role covers both maintenance and troubleshooting across industrial equipment, with opportunities to advance from entry to senior levels as you gain experience. Ideal candidates will have a technical background, strong problem-solving abilities, and a willingness to travel regionally to service client sites.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent (GED).
• Associates degree with a technical focus and 5 years related experience; or 7 years in the industry.
• Daily travel required to Chicagoland area.

Responsibilities

• Perform break-fix and preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Identify parts and repair items for maintenance.
• Operate machining tools as needed and perform welding tasks.
• Follow safety policies and document work in service reports.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and fluid power systems.
• Train and develop via on-the-job and self-study.
