Zusammenfassung

Gardner White Furniture & Mattress is seeking an Area Sales Trainer to serve as the face of sales training across our stores. You will translate training programs into consistent selling behaviors and measurable results, partnering with store leaders to strengthen coaching, performance, and adoption of training initiatives.

You will travel daily to 11-12 stores, lead pre-opening sessions, coach in-store teams, deliver onboarding, and report on performance trends.

Qualifikationen

5+ years in commissioned retail sales, sales leadership, or training.
Proven top-performer with home furnishings or high-ticket retail preferred.
Strong facilitation and group presence across tenure levels.
Ability to read scorecards and turn data into coaching plans.
Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and extensive travel.

Aufgaben

Execute a structured store visitation schedule across locations.
Lead pre-opening training sessions on skills, product knowledge, and promotions.
Observe live interactions and provide actionable feedback to improve selling.
Deliver onboarding, role-plays, and development activities for associates.
Support coaching culture with managers and drive continuous improvement.
Provide regular field feedback to leadership on performance trends and opportunities.
