Job summary

Rocky Brands is seeking a Territory Sales Manager for the Rocky Boot brand to maximize sales across Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas and Illinois.

You'll build relationships with authorized retailers, implement sales activities, and collaborate on marketing plans while traveling up to 75% and lifting up to 50 pounds as needed. A bachelor's degree or 2–4 years outside sales experience to major retailers is required, with fluent Spanish.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 2–4 years outside sales experience.
• 1–3 years outside sales experience to major retailers.
• Fluent in Spanish required.
• Demonstrated track record of success in sales.
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
• Advanced level of experience in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Demonstrated understanding of customer needs and market segmentation.
• Ability to travel 75% of the time and overnight.
• Ability to perform moderate physical labor including lifting 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maximize sales through relationships, technology enhancements, brand loyalty programs and targeted sales processes within the assigned territory.
• Meet or exceed sales plan consistently and solicit orders from authorized retailers.
• Manage current distribution and develop new points of distribution within the territory.
• Develop strong relationships with internal and external customers through effective communication and ownership.
• Implement marketing plans and assist in marketing initiatives as needed.
