Job summary

Medcor Safety, a subsidiary of Medcor, seeks a Safety Professional for a short-term regional assignment based out of Auburn, MA and supporting projects throughout Western Massachusetts.

You will work in the field with crews and site leadership to identify hazards, reinforce safe practices, and ensure compliance with safety requirements across locations.

This hands-on role requires travel, strong communication, and the ability to start ASAP on an approximately 1–3 month project.

Qualifications

• Current CPR/First Aid certification.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant safety experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability and willingness to travel between project locations across Western Massachusetts.
• Basic computer proficiency (word processing, spreadsheets, email, internet).
• Preferred: CHST certification and OSHA 500.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field safety audits across multiple project locations.
• Identify hazards and work with crews to implement corrective actions.
• Reinforce safe work practices with field personnel and management.
• Document audit findings and safety observations.
• Assist in developing and implementing Site-Specific Safety Plans.
