Job summary

Medcor Safety, a subsidiary of Medcor, is seeking a Safety Professional for a short-term regional assignment based out of Auburn, MA, covering Western Massachusetts.

You will work in the field with crews performing underground utility installation and maintenance, identify hazards, reinforce safe work practices, and ensure compliance with safety requirements.

This hands-on role is ideal for experienced construction or utility safety professionals who can start quickly and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant safety experience.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification.
• CHST and OSHA 500 certifications preferred.
• Ability and willingness to travel between project locations.
• Proficient in basic computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field safety audits across multiple project locations.
• Identify unsafe conditions and implement corrective actions with field crews.
• Reinforce safe work practices and coordinate with site leadership.
• Review client and site safety requirements for compliance.
• Assist in developing Site-Specific Safety Plans and safety communications.
