Job summary

Evolving Solution Services seeks a hands-on Manager of Network Engineering to design, implement, and optimize a fiber‑to‑the‑home broadband network. You will lead a small, skilled team across core, transport, and access networks to ensure reliability and scalable performance.

You will balance strategic planning with day‑to‑day operations, applying best practices in security, documentation, and incident response to meet service‑level targets.

Qualifications

• Seven+ years in network engineering or related infrastructure environments.
• Three+ years leading engineers or cross‑functional teams.
• Strong understanding of IP networking, routing, switching, broadband access, and high‑availability design.
• Experience with FTTH technologies (GPON, XGS-PON, NG-PON2) and carrier-grade equipment.
• Hands‑on experience with routers, switches, optical transport, firewalls, DHCP, DNS, CGNAT, and monitoring platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop the network engineering team, including hiring, onboarding, coaching, and performance management.
• Own design, configuration, deployment, and lifecycle management of core, edge, transport, and access networks.
• Plan network expansion, capacity upgrades, resiliency improvements, and performance optimization based on growth and traffic trends.
• Collaborate with OSP, Field Ops, IT, and OSS/BSS teams to deliver reliable broadband services.
• Oversee escalation support for incidents, outages, and maintenance with root-cause analysis.
