Scoular seeks a proactive Facility Trade Manager to lead regional strategies, optimize facility space, and coordinate with Trade, Origination and Operations. You will build relationships with customers and suppliers, manage forecasting and risk, and drive profitable growth across multiple facilities in North America.

The role requires strong market insight, leadership, and a collaborative mindset to deliver enterprise objectives and talent development within the rail trading organization.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 7+ years in agricultural commodity trading, freight, or related commercial role.
• Strong understanding of rail freight markets and contracts.
• Proven record of profitable commercial decision-making and risk management.
• Collaborative, enterprise-first mindset and leadership experience.

Aufgaben

• Define and communicate regional facility trade strategy with profitability and space goals.
• Partner with Facility Merchants and divisional teams on merchandising and trading strategies.
• Collaborate to improve trade-unit efficiency, optimize space, and develop markets.
• Identify opportunities, manage counterparty relationships, and deploy hedging plans.
• Develop forecasts, budgets, and explain variances with clarity.
• Lead, coach and develop trade and origination teams; build succession plans.
