Job summary

FedEx Freight is seeking a leader to drive regional facility maintenance by managing Facility Advisors and Facility Maintenance Technicians, ensuring in-house work execution, reducing vendor spend, and improving asset performance, cost efficiency, and service delivery across facilities.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent plus five years of relevant experience, with travel and strong project management, leadership, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience plus five (5) years facility, project management, or related discipline.
• Knowledge of LTL trucking facilities, preferred.
• Thorough understanding of project management principles / techniques.
• Must be self-motivated with the ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Demonstrative leadership and conflict resolution skills.
• Must possess problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to interpret AutoCAD and other drawing mediums preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and motivational skills.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Experience and ability to use Microsoft Office software, including but not limited to; Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Lead a staff of Facility Advisors and Facility Maintenance Technicians regionally.
• Monitor workload and ensure timely completion of work orders with in-house execution.
• Drive reductions in vendor spend by identifying opportunities for internal execution.
• Develop cost-effective scopes of work aligned with strategic goals.
• Analyze regional repair costs, technician productivity, and vendor usage trends.
• Provide performance reporting and insights to leadership on utilization, spend, and service levels.
• Comply with laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Perform other duties as required.
