Job summary

FedEx Freight is seeking a leader to guide regional facility maintenance by directing Facility Advisors and FMTs, prioritizing in-house work and reducing outsourcing costs. You will drive improvements in asset performance, service delivery, and cost efficiency for multiple facilities across the region.

The role requires five years of related experience, strong PM skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects with effective communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience with five years in facility, project management, or related discipline.
• Knowledge of LTL trucking facilities preferred.
• Thorough understanding of project management principles and techniques.
• Self-motivated with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Demonstrated leadership and conflict resolution capabilities.
• Ability to interpret AutoCAD and other drawing mediums; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Select, educate, develop and lead a staff of employees.
• Monitor and manage workload across the region to ensure timely completion of work orders.
• Drive reductions in vendor spend by identifying opportunities for internal execution.
• Collaborate to develop cost effective scopes of work aligned with goals.
• Analyze regional repair cost, technician productivity, and vendor usage trends.
• Provide performance reporting and insights to leadership on utilization and service levels.
• Comply with laws, regulations, and company policies; perform other duties as required.
