Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a Multi-Office Leader (Area Experience Leader) to oversee 4–6 offices. You will coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, ensuring a high-quality client experience and strong operational results across locations.

The role combines strategic oversight with hands-on leadership, focusing on staffing, compliance, and performance improvement to deliver consistent client outcomes and business growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years leading teams in a multi-unit environment with accountability for performance outcomes.
• Strong client-centric mindset with experience delivering consultative client experience.
• Proven ability to drive business and financial results across multiple locations, including labor management.
• Experience managing facilities, staffing, or compliance across locations.

Responsibilities

• Own consistent delivery of the consultative client experience across 4–6 assigned offices.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations; reinforce strengths and address gaps.
• Drive adoption of new client experience processes, tools, and behaviors.
• Lead Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals by setting clear expectations and coaching to performance.
• Provide coaching informed by observed behaviors and performance outcomes to strengthen teams.
• Identify patterns across offices and develop bench strength and high-potential talent.
• Own revenue, growth, and operational performance across offices.
• Monitor performance metrics and implement actions to improve business results and client acquisition/retention.
• Ensure daily operations, staffing, scheduling, and compliance across offices.
• Own office readiness including facilities, equipment, and onboarding for seasonal demand.
