Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a Multi-Office Leader (Area Experience Leader) to oversee 4-6 retail offices and ensure a consistent, high-quality client experience across locations. You’ll set expectations for consultative service, operational execution, team performance, and business results.

You’ll coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, lead with hands-on presence, and manage office readiness, staffing, facilities, and compliance to drive client outcomes and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 3+ years leading teams in multi-unit retail/service/operations.
• Strong client-centric mindset and consultative experience.
• Proven ability to coach, develop and hold teams accountable.
• Experience driving business and financial results across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Own consistent delivery of the client experience across 4-6 offices with discipline.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations to improve results.
• Drive adoption of new client experience processes, tools, and behaviors.
• Lead Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals with clear expectations and accountability.
• Provide coaching based on observed behaviors, performance, and feedback to strengthen teams.
• Identify patterns across offices and develop bench strength and talent.
• Own revenue, growth, and operational performance across offices.
• Monitor metrics and implement actions to improve client acquisition and retention.
• Ensure daily operations across offices including staffing, scheduling, and compliance.
• Oversee office readiness including facilities, equipment, and onboarding for seasonal demand.
