Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking an Area Experience Leader to oversee a portfolio of 4–6 retail offices, ensuring a consistently excellent client experience and strong operational execution across locations.

You will coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, set clear expectations, and drive performance. This in‑office leadership role involves staffing, training, and ensuring readiness to meet seasonal demand while delivering business results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years work experience leading teams in a multi-unit retail, service, or operations environment with accountability for performance outcomes.
• Experience delivering consultative client experience and leading through change.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery of the consultative client experience across 4–6 offices with consistent standards.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations to improve the experience.
• Lead and coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals with accountability for performance.
• Manage office readiness, staffing, facilities, compliance, and day-to-day operations.
• Monitor performance, analyze trends, and drive revenue and business outcomes across offices.
