H&R Block is seeking an Area Experience Leader to oversee 4-6 retail offices, delivering a consistent, high-quality client experience across locations. You will set expectations for consultative service, oversee operations, and coach teams to align with business goals.

You’ll develop Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, balancing strategic oversight with hands-on leadership to drive client outcomes and performance. Expect travel and hands-on office leadership across sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Experience leading teams in a multi-unit environment with accountability for performance.
• Strong client-centric mindset with proven consultative client delivery.

Responsibilities

• Own consistent delivery of the consultative client experience across 4-6 assigned offices.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations to reinforce strengths and close gaps.
• Drive adoption of new client experience processes, tools, and behaviors.
• Lead Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, setting expectations and coaching for performance.
• Provide coaching based on observed behaviors, performance, and real-time feedback.
• Identify patterns, address performance gaps, and develop bench strength.
• Own revenue, growth, and operational performance across offices.
• Monitor metrics, trends, and take actions to improve results and retention.
• Ensure daily operations, staffing, scheduling, compliance, and SOPs across locations.
• Oversee office readiness including facilities, equipment, and seasonal preparation.
