Job summary

Empowered Staffing LLC is partnering with a national healthcare provider to recruit an Environmental Services District Manager for the Baltimore, MD area. The role oversees multiple facilities, drives housekeeping, laundry, and sanitation standards, and leads EVS teams to achieve client satisfaction and contract performance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in Environmental Services or housekeeping in a supervisory/management role in healthcare.
• Experience managing multiple facilities and travel across territories.
• Strong knowledge of housekeeping, laundry, floor care, sanitation, safety, and infection-control.
• Experience budgeting, labor, expenses, and P&L responsibilities.
• Proven ability to lead and develop managers and frontline teams.
• Excellent client relationships, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee EVS operations across multiple skilled nursing and healthcare facilities in the territory.
• Lead, coach, and develop EVS Directors, supervisors, and facility teams.
• Build and maintain relationships with facility leadership and clients.
• Monitor performance, staffing needs, and opportunities for improvement.
• Manage budgets, labor hours, supplies, and other operating expenses.
• Conduct regular visits and reviews to ensure standards in housekeeping and sanitation.
• Ensure compliance with policies, contracts, and regulatory requirements.
• Support recruiting, training, and performance management across the district.
• Address safety, compliance, and operational issues as needed.
