Job summary
Waymo is seeking a seasoned Operations leader to scale EV platforms across Eastern Region markets, ensuring fleet uptime and platform maturity. You will oversee field integration, provide technical mentorship to diagnostics teams, and coordinate with engineering and operations for reliable performance.
We value experience in NPI scaling, vendor accountability, and data-driven decision making to optimize autonomous fleet operations.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of industry experience in large-scale operations, logistics or hardware manufacturing.
- Experience taking hardware products from NPI to field deployment.
- Proven vendor management with SLAs and data-driven audits.
- Strong analytical rigor: telemetry, diagnostics, dashboards, fleet metrics.
- Proven project leadership in high-velocity environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead regional fleet integration and scalability across Eastern Region markets.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship for field diagnostics teams.
- Serve as liaison between hardware/ Electrical Eng and Field Ops; translate failures into Standard Work.
- Drive vendor management and workforce readiness; audit SLAs and safety certifications.
- Champion automation and tooling to maximize depot throughput; report fleet health to leadership.
- Collaborate with Supply Management on component lifecycles and just-in-time parts.
