Job summary

Actalent is seeking an Environmental Services Leader in Charlotte, NC, or Raleigh, NC, to build and manage a regional environmental practice. The role focuses on growing a diverse portfolio, leading project teams, and driving business development with strong internal support and a growing project pipeline.

You will oversee Brownfields redevelopment, Phase I/II ESAs, regulatory compliance, and client relationships with developers, schools, and municipal entities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in environmental consulting or related fields.
• Proven track record of environmental department or office management.
• Demonstrated success in Brownfields and redevelopment projects.
• Strong technical expertise across due diligence, industrial and hazardous waste, environmental compliance, solid waste, and UST assessments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow environmental and construction services operations in the Charlotte or Raleigh market.
• Manage a variety of environmental projects including Brownfields redevelopment and ESAs.
• Oversee industrial, hazardous waste, and solid waste projects with regulatory compliance.
• Direct asbestos and lead-based paint inspections and UST assessments as needed.
• Serve as project manager and team leader, overseeing budgets and schedules.
