Switch seeks a Regional Environmental Manager to lead environmental compliance across Reno, NV, Austin, TX, and Houston, TX. You will own programs, engage regulators, and ensure permits and reports are on time while supporting safe data-center operations.

The Role Regional Environmental Manager
The Regional Environmental Manager leads environmental compliance programs for Switch campuses in Reno Nevada and Austin and Houston Texas This role serves as the primary environmental compliance resource for the region and is responsible for program ownership regulatory engagement permitting compliance assurance and environmental incident response You will partner with Operations Engineering Construction Energy Legal Procurement and regulatory agencies to maintain compliance with federal state and local requirements Your work will support safe reliable data center operations while helping the business manage environmental risk and meet growth objectives This position is based at the Reno campus and requires routine travel to other assigned campuses
You apply sound judgment when balancing compliance requirements operational needs and business priorities You communicate technical environmental requirements clearly to employees contractors leaders and regulators You take ownership of programs and follow through on permits reports corrective actions and commitments You identify compliance risks early and develop practical solutions You remain organized while managing multiple sites deadlines and regulatory jurisdictions You build productive relationships across technical and business teams You work effectively when requirements priorities or conditions change You use data reporting and operational observations to improve compliance programs You maintain professional judgment and discretion when handling environmental incidents or regulatory matters
Required Qualifications
In depth knowledge of Nevada and Texas environmental regulations
