Linde Inc. in Wilmington, CA (or Phoenix, AZ) is seeking a Regional Environmental Specialist to lead environmental compliance programs across California and surrounding states. You will implement and maintain systems, monitor performance, and support permits and regulatory reporting.

The role requires a degree in Environmental Science and 5+ years in air, water, and waste, preferably in refinery/chemical settings, with strong regulatory knowledge and travel up to ~40%.

Qualifications

• Degree in Environmental Science or related field.
• 5+ years of environmental experience in air, water, and waste.
• Experience in refinery, chemical, or petrochemical plant.
• Knowledge of Title V/NSR permitting, GHG permitting, refining regs, MACT, RCRA, CWA, NPDES.
• Willingness to travel ~40% and ability to obtain security clearances.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain environmental compliance programs across facilities.
• Monitor environmental performance and provide leadership, guidance, and training.
• Prepare permit applications and amendments including Title V, PSD, NSR.
• Submit environmental reports such as GHG, TSCA, TRI, NPDES.
• Interface with state and federal regulatory agencies regarding permits and inspections.
• Support Emission Cap and Trade programs and collaborate with Regional Specialists.
