Job summary

McFarland Johnson is seeking a Regional Manager for its Facilities Division, overseeing regional operations and business development in the Carolinas from either Raleigh, NC or Greenville, SC. You will set growth strategies, drive process improvements, and manage performance across the region.

Ideal candidates bring 12+ years of building design experience, a PE license in NC/SC/VA, and proven leadership and project management skills, with strong communication and writing abilities for client

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Structural Engineering.
• P.E. registration in NC, SC, VA.
• 12+ years of progressive building design experience.
• Excellent verbal communication and technical writing.
• Proven leadership and project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Project Manager for select projects to ensure on‑time and within budget with delivery of high‑quality technical designs and plans meeting project requirements.
• Oversee supervision and development of design staff to ensure production, staffing projections and scheduling, quality control, review contracts, set project scope and cost proposals.
• Complete employee performance and career development goals and identify or implement appropriate training opportunities.
• Collaborate with the Director to ensure financial success of the Facilities Division.
• Develop and achieve new order business goals and maintain existing client relationships in the region.

We’re looking for a skilled and driven Regional Manager to join our widely respected and diverse Facilities Division in either our Raleigh, NC or Greenville, SC office locations. The Regional Engineering Manager is responsible for overseeing the successful operations and business development of the Facilities Division’s regional functions. This position will be tasked with working with the Director of MJ’s Facilities Division to set forth growth strategies in the Carolinas Region, process improvements, performance management, and other strategic initiatives for the region.
