Job summary

Ducks Unlimited, Inc. seeks a self-motivated regional engineer to join the Southern Regional Office in Richmond, TX. The role involves planning, design, and construction of wetland restoration projects across the Southwest Unit (TX, OK, NM).

You will work with biologists and engineers to deliver complex habitat restoration efforts. Requirements include a B.S. in Civil Engineering and a registered Civil Engineer, with desirable experience in Civil3D, hydrology, hydraulics, and construction

Qualifications

• Must have a B.S in Civil Engineering or equivalent from an ABET/EAC accredited program and be a registered Civil Engineer.
• Desirable qualification includes Civil3D, hydrology, hydraulics, coastal engineering, structures/pump station design, erosion control, construction inspection and management.

Responsibilities

• Perform full project planning, design, contracting and construction management for wetland restoration projects.
• Supervise engineering staff and provide guidance, training, and quality control of services and standards.
• Develop scopes, proposals, technical specifications, and cost estimates; attend project meetings.
