Job summary

CMC is seeking a geotechnical/structural engineering professional in California who can blend technical design with sales-driven project development. You will work across design centers, installers, and clients to craft RAP solutions, generate leads, and manage bids for regional growth.

Responsibilities

• Develop cost effective geotechnical solutions for RAP projects.
• Coordinate between Design Center, Installer and Client for accuracy and efficiency.
• Generate sales leads and track key projects with monthly status reports.
• Implement strategies to close business and meet regional revenue goals.
• Review geotechnical and structural data to assess feasibility and value.
• Prepare proposals and work with estimators for RAP bids.
• Review and seal project submittals and field reports.

What You'll Do

• Develop cost effective geotechnical solutions using proprietary technologies including Rammed Aggregate Pier systems for project teams
• Coordinate interaction between GFC Design Center, Licensed Installer and Client to maximum efficient, accuracy, and effectiveness of GFC services and systems.
• Responsible for generating sales leads, managing and tracking key projects and communicating project status via monthly reports
• Implement engineering/bid strategies to close business and achieve proposals and solutions to meet regional revenue goals
• Review project geotechnical and structural information and perform project evaluations to examine technical and commercial feasibility
• Prepare proposals and work with estimators to provide project bids for RAP opportunities
• Review, sign, and seal project design submittals and field reports and prepare project close-out submittals

What You'll Need

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a geotechnical/structural engineering field
• Minimum 2 years sales experience preferred
• Registered professional engineer with active license, in good standing
• Ability to quickly evaluate both technical and commercial viability of opportunities to provide value to project teams
• Demonstrate ability to create and manage business opportunities resulting in successful engineering and sales strategies

Your Education

• BS in Civil Engineering required - MS in geotechnical engineering preferred.
