Job summary

Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. seeks a Specialist Electrician to support operations across the Midwest and southeastern United States. The role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to lead maintenance crews when necessary, with availability for 24/7 response to plant needs.

Work is at facilities throughout the United States, primarily supporting the IG South Subregion. Travel is significant within the region, with possible international travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in petrochemical/manufacturing electrical maintenance.
• Experience with low, medium and high voltage equipment.
• Knowledge of electrical distribution, motors, conduits and wiring.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, install and maintain electrical equipment.
• Support electrical reliability and maintenance across plants and facilities.
• Diagnose equipment issues and resolve electrical/control failures.
• Develop refurbishment procedures and oversee parts replacement.
• Provide technical decision support for major repairs and overhauls.
• Coordinate with engineering and operations for safe execution.
• Prepare technical reports and equipment assessments.
